The Role

Our dedicated national team of Workshop Service Technicians, or Mechanics, play an important and essential role in our business. We are currently seeking:

  • Access Equipment Technicians
  • Forklift Technicians

 

As a Workshop Service Technician, you are expected to deliver consistent and high-quality service solutions to support our customers every day. This hands-on role will require you to perform all types of service requirements on a variety of forklift equipment.

Working from our state-of-the-art workshop facility, you’ll enjoy the variety of the job that ensures your day is never the same. One day you may be performing preventative maintenance or minor repairs, followed by another day where you could be performing a challenging overhaul.

Reporting to the Service Manager, you’ll also appreciate working with a great team of people at our Perth branch who are there to support you.

 

 

Key Responsibilities

The key focus of this role involves the maintenance servicing of forklift and access equipment. This includes:

  • Planned maintenance (PMP) and inspections,
  • Repairs,
  • Overhauls,
  • New machine builds,
  • Modifications

 

 

Qualifications / Experience

To be considered for this position, you will ideally have the following:

Essential
  • Automotive mechanic trade background,
  • Be a team player,
  • Attention to detail,
  • Be able to work with minimal supervision,
  • Good customer service relationships,
  • Must be reliable and punctual.

 

Desirable
  • Electrical and hydraulic experience highly regarded.
